為什麼法師要開這個楞嚴法會？是紀念我們彌光長老圓寂九周年，也紀念我們從山長老圓寂五周年。

Why would the master wish to organize this Surangama Dharma assembly? It is to commemorate the ninth anniversary of the passing of Master Mi Guang, as well as the fifth anniversary of the passing of our master Master Cong Shan.

因為法師發心特別殊勝，紀念兩位大修行的圓寂，然後讀誦《楞嚴經》，修習《楞嚴咒》。我一下車，他說：「法師法師，你先鑒定一下。」拿出一尊寶塔來，「看看這個是不是舍利子？」我這一看，阿彌陀佛，真是舍利子啊！

Due to the extraordinarily auspicious nature of the master』s aspiration in the commemoration of the passing of these two great practitioners, and the reciting of the Surangama Sutra and the chanting of the Surangama Mantra, he immediately asked after I had gotten off the car, 『Master, master, could you please verify this?』 He took out a small stupa and said, 『Is this a relic?』 Upon seeing that, I said, 『Amitabh. O, it is really a relic!"

這就是一種殊勝的因緣，這就是一種瑞相。這次出來弘法，我確實也帶了慧日寺出的佛舍利，也是跟這個一樣白白的。

This is a kind of auspicious cause and condition. It is a providential sign. For the Dharma spreading trip this time, I have actually also brought relics from Huiri Monastery. They are white just like this."

東寶寺出寶貝了！這就是這次楞嚴法會的功德證明，是對我們所有人的加持，佛的舍利就代表佛今天來到這裡了。

These treasures have appeared in Dongbao Monastery! They are the proof of the virtuous merits of the Surangama Dharma assembly. They are blessings for all of us here. Relics of the Buddha signify the presence of the Buddha here today.

有時候舍利出來，這也是表證明。實際上也就相當於《法華經》裡面的多寶佛一樣，這是同樣的一種示現，然後讓我們生大信心。有大信心就能消大業障，有大信心就能增大福報，有大信心你就有愛眾生的能力，有大信心就能得大解脫，有大信心就證大快樂！

Sometimes, the appearance of relics is also a substantiation. In fact, it is the same as the Buddha of Abundant Treasures in the Lotus Sutra. It is a similar kind of manifestation. We then develop great faith. With such great faith, we will be able to eliminate our karmic hindrances. With great faith, we will be able to increase our great blessings. With great faith, we will have the ability to love myriad beings. With great faith, we will be able to obtain ultimate liberation. With great faith, we will realise great bliss!

蓮花源寺法會佛舍利湧出來，就是告訴我們佛是真實不虛的，不是一個空的理念。我自己也越來越感受到極樂世界是真實不虛的，諸佛菩薩是真實不虛的，我們自己的修行也是真實不虛的。只要你真的修行就可以把負能量減少，就可以成為有福報的人。前不久蓮花源寺出舍利，慧日寺出舍利，現在也有居士弘揚法寶的地方出舍利。這是佛陀對弟子的鼓勵，是佛陀的大慈大悲。

舍利現象我已經思考了很多年，我們要思考的，它像一個課題，信心也是你思考了之後才會增長的。舍利現象是佛陀給我們的一個功課，讓你去憶念、思考。你憶念、思考，就越想越開智慧；憶佛念佛，就越來越了解真相，越來越拓展我們的生命境界。

這個佛舍利早已經供在我心口，頂戴在我頭頂的能量場的蓮花里了，這樣子祈禱佛陀悲憫我們，能消除我們無量劫來不清凈的身業、語業、意業，令我們身口意清凈，能變成一個真正有用的人。
