China s JD.com releases world-class unmanned warehouse standards

China"s leading e-commerce company JD.com announced to have released the first world-class unmanned warehouse standards on May 25th.

According to JD.com, it used the world"s first completely unmanned warehouse last October. During the last Double 11, with the pressure of high volumn of orders, it had put the intelligent automated controlling system into complete operation, including the process of entering the warehouse, scanning, packing, sorting and shipping. In JD.com"s unmanned warehouse, the intelligent controlling system, "smart brain", is completely developed by JD.com. JD.com owns the independent intellectual property of the entire information system, such as warehouse management, controlling, sorting, delivering, etc.

The unmanned warehouse can achieve the optimization of cost, efficiency and experience, tremendously reduce human workload and easily ten times as much efficient as the traditional warehouse.
