面向中國記者的國際新聞獎，別錯過

幾乎每一個記者都知道「普利策新聞獎」，但是中國記者並沒有獲得普利策獎的機會，因為那是一個面向美國媒體的獎項。

中國媒體當然也有自己的獎項——中國新聞獎和長江韜奮新聞獎。但是，出於眾所周知的原因，這些官方獎項的評選並不僅僅基於作品質量，更多還要考慮背後的政治因素。因此，獲得這些獎項的作品並不必然是業務上最優秀的作品，而一些業務上最優秀的作品本身並沒有獲獎的可能。

由亞洲出版業協會（SOPA）評選的卓越新聞獎，是部分中國媒體人獲獎的另一個機會。財新、澎湃等業內領軍媒體都曾憑藉優秀的作品獲獎。

但這樣的機會還是太少了，還有太多優秀的中國媒體人沒能獲得這些榮譽。在新聞業危機深重的時代，來自新聞獎的認可對鼓舞士氣有著重要的作用。

現在，有一個新的獎項可供中國媒體人申請：由國際中國記者協會（International China Journalists Association）評選的年度新聞獎。

國際中國記者協會是一個旨在推動關於中國的新聞報道質量的機構。其發起人和理事會成員包括資深媒體人（《紐約時報》駐華記者Mike Forsythe傅才德、《經濟學人》駐華記者Gady Epstein、《外交政策》記者Bethany Allen-Ebrahimian、《哈佛商業評論》總編輯Adi Ignatius等）和曾經是媒體人的研究者（墨爾本大學Louisa Lim、羅伊研究所Richard McGregor等）。

該協會評選的2018年年度新聞獎，包括3個類別，分別是：

1. 卓越報道獎（國際媒體）

GENERAL EXCELLENCE -- INTERNATIONAL

This category recognizes the best work of the year -- an article that revealed a major new China-related story, framed public debate, or resulted in meaningful social or policy change in China. Articles in both Chinese and English will be considered; the judging process will take into account the media outlet』s commitment to press freedom.

2. 卓越報道獎（中國大陸媒體）

GENERAL EXCELLENCE -- MAINLAND CHINA-BASED OUTLETS

This category honors the best work of the year published in English or Chinese at a news outlet based in mainland China. News outlets in China face many restrictions in their coverage that international news organizations do not, yet many journalists at Chinese news outlets continue to find creative ways to tell stories or to push the envelope in investigative reports about issues related to China. This category will recognize a journalist whose work revealed a major China-related story, helped shape public debate, or resulted in meaningful social or policy change in China.

3. 新聞勇氣獎

THE ICJA AWARD FOR COURAGE IN JOURNALISM

In a country, and a world, where journalists face growing threats to their safety and that of their families, ICJA will recognize a journalist who undertook extraordinary risks to report and publish a story related to China.

可以看到，第二個獎項是專門針對中國大陸媒體的，第三個獎項同樣非常適合大陸媒體人申請。

申請這些獎項的報道需要是在2017年4月1日到2018年5月1日之間發表的。

獎項申請的截止日期是7月5日，可以自薦，也可以提名他人。
