能一次在兩個完全不同的方面都得到自己想要的東西。一般情況下，我們很難擁有best of both worlds：

You can either get up early tomorrow and get a lot of assignments done, or you can stay out late tonight and have fun with your friends, but you can"t have the best of both worlds.

你可以明天一早早起完成你那一堆的工作，或者你也可以今晚和你的朋友玩到很晚（你就有可能完不成工作），但是你沒辦法兼得。

但是也有很多幸運的時候，我們能夠做到兩全其美：

We have the best of both worlds here — it』s a peaceful village but we』re only twenty minutes from the downtown.

在這裡簡直就是兩全其美——我們身處在寧靜的村莊的同時還離城區只有不到20分鐘車程。
