Qian Song rock
（1899—1985年）江蘇宜興人，又名松岩、松嚴，號芑廬主人。1957年為江蘇省國畫院首批畫師，生前任江蘇畫院名譽院長，中國美協江蘇分會主席。生前政府為其出版個人畫集頗多，拍攝專題紀錄片3部。中國美術館、人民大會堂、毛主席紀念堂、釣魚台國賓館均收藏或在顯著位置陳列他的作品。
(1899 -- 1985) a native of yixing, jiangsu province, also known as songyan, songyan, known as the host of pyran. In 1957, he was one of the first group of painters in the national painting institute of jiangsu province. During his lifetime, the government published a large number of personal albums for him and made 3 documentaries. The China art museum, the great hall of the people, chairman MAO memorial hall and the diaoyutai state guesthouse all collect or display his works in prominent places.
1899 年，錢松喦出生在美麗的江南小城宜興。小名松伢，寓意松樹長青不老，意義吉祥，因「伢」字與「岩」諧音，改名「松岩」，後來改為結構更為優美的「松喦」二字。，錢松喦是一個早熟晚成的畫家，五十歲以後的他才正真的進入了藝術的高峰期。1957年，他從無錫師範調至江蘇國畫院任畫師，並定居南京，從此他義無反顧地揚起了傳統中國畫如何反映現實生活的風帆，走上了藝術的探索之路。
In 1899, qian songyan was born in yixing, a beautiful southern city. Qian songyan is a precocious late-comer who has really entered the peak of art since he was fifty years old. From normal to jiangsu wuxi in 1957, he of the painter, and settled in nanjing, from now on he boldly raise how traditional Chinese painting reflects the real life sails, on the path of art exploration.
1960年，錢松喦滿懷著無限的創作熱情與傅抱石等畫友做了二萬三千里旅行寫生，這次寫生無異成了他藝術的催化劑。他過龍門、攀華山、游聖地延安、看西安碑林，登秦嶺、觀峨眉、嘉嶺怒吼、巫山雲雨，盡收眼底；出洞庭、入三峽、沐湘江風雨、瞻領袖故居，滿載而歸。寫生歸來的他亢奮之情溢於言表，創作的激情如噴薄欲出的旭日。從此胸襟大開，氣局拓展，創作了一批驚世駭俗躍然紙上的佳作，如《紅岩》《常熟田》《三門峽》《寶塔晴雪》等。

1964 年，在北京舉辦個展時，時任中國美術家協會副主席的華君武，讚譽他的作品是「山水畫推陳出新的新樣板」。
