His interior and post talent is great. I don"t know if it"s top 5 level, but it"s pretty damn good. The problem is he isn"t really good at anything else and his skill set isn"t as valuable in today"s NBA.

It was funny when Embiid started playing and Okafor was still getting minutes a couple years ago because watching the massive drop off when Embiid came out and Jah entered the game was crazy. It was easily apparent that Embiid was just on a completely different level especially speed wise. Jah looked (is) lethargic

It』s actually just straight up not good. It』s not a skill set problem. If he hit shots at an efficient rate people would still want him. Al Jefferson got significant minutes two years ago. Okafors problem is that his offense actually isn』t efficient.

Okafor is actually significantly above league average at post-up scoring efficiency. It"s just that post-ups are one of the most inefficient play types, so an above-average post scorer is still very inefficient.

Every player who succeeds as a post-up player in today"s league does it by leveraging the threat of post-scoring to generate other kinds of offense, such as when Cousins or Al Jefferson kicks it out to three point shooters. But even though Okafor finishes his post-ups as a good rate, if he"s not a plus passer it"s a net negative on offense.

當今聯盟，那些出任低位攻擊手還能取得成功的球員，其實都是用低位進攻作為威脅手段，以此來輔助其他攻擊方式。比如考辛斯或者艾爾-傑弗森吧，他們就會外切去投三分。即使奧卡福能夠高效地完成低位進攻，如果他不能成為一名好的傳球手，他在進攻一端的作用就還是負的。
