雷聲，或者語意南秋

這麼長久的雷聲卻不見大雨落下

我必須引以為戒了

至少，我必須認真地傾聽剖析它們的來路

這多麼像長嚎之人卻不見眼淚落下

這多麼像蓄勢已久的朗誦卻不見一句台詞

這多麼像一座大房子敞開著卻不見一人出入

這多麼像道士忘我地念念有詞地做法事卻不見一名至親在場

這多麼像長篇巨著中未有一個主角現身

或許，這世界只是個虛擬

只有雷聲是真實的

或許，恰恰相反雷聲雖然通天，卻未必通曉人間

或許，雷聲言不達意

我們已經入木三分

THE RUMBLE OF THUNDER,

METAPHORICALLY SPEAKING

No sign of heavy rain despite the incessant rumble of thunder.

A premonition that I better heed.

At least I should be fully attentive to analyzing the source.

A lot like someone crying along cry but there are no tears.

A lot like a long rehearsing without saying a line on stage.

A lot like a mansion with open doors but no one comes and goes.

A lot like a Taoist monk reciting incantations but no relatives are present.

A lot like a protagonist in an epic novel who has yet to appear.

Perhaps this world is an illusion, only the rumble of thunder is real.

It strikes a contrary note that thunder rumbles high and far

but is incapable of human pathos. Perhaps thunder struggles to communicate,

and we are far too preoccupied with other things.

南 秋，本名連佔斗，1964年生，福建省大田縣人，福建省作協會員，大田縣作協主席， 1990年以「福建三家巷」參加《詩歌報月刊》第二屆全國現代詩歌群體大展，著有詩歌集《太陽的語言》《田野的鑰匙》《光與影的階梯》《天地之吻》《大地的心跳》等五部。作品先後在《星星詩刊》《詩選刊》《詩歌月刊》《福建文學》等發表。主張詩歌無技法只求自然，無流派瞻觀古今，無厚薄獨愛博大之作。

「鴨先知」典出蘇軾"春江水暖鴨先知」（《題惠崇春江晚景》），由四位成員組成，簡介如下：

Duck Yard Lyricists is consisted of four devoted poetry lovers: Meifu Wang, Peter Micic, Michael Soper, & Johan Ramaeker.

Meifu Wang (王美富)

美籍華人，出生於台灣，現任《廿一世紀中國詩歌》主編兼翻譯。曾獲台灣大學外文學士，加州大學以及普渡大學雙科學碩士。曾任世界銀行交通專家，美國交通部工程師。現定居於美國西雅圖，全心投入文學。

Ms. Wang is the editor and co-translatorof bilingual poetry journal 21st Century Chinese Poetry.Born in Taiwan, Meifu Wang earned her BA inforeign languages and world literature from National Taiwan University. Her poetry has appeared in Chinese and American literary journals. Ms. Wang also earned Master"s degrees in natural sciences, and worked in these fields in Washington D.C and overseas. Meifu received a 2013 Henry Luce Foundation Fellowship for Chinese poetry translationfor a residency at Vermont Studio Center. In 2016, she also accepted the appointment by Ningxia Province Poetry Society as its contracted literary translator. She lives in Seattle, USA.

Peter Micic (彼得)

澳大利亞墨爾本人，音樂家，通曉多種語言，歷史家，作家，詩人，茶博士，蒙納西大學語言學學士，音樂碩士，音樂歷史學博士。

Born in Melbourne, Australia, Peter Micicis a musician, polyglot, historian, writer, poet, and tea aficionado. Peter is a graduate from Monash University, Melbourne (B.A: Linguistics, Chinese; M.A:Music; PhD: Modern Chinese Music History).

Mike Soper (蘇浪禹)

美國華盛頓人，曾任報社編輯，潛水艇水手，美國政府行政主管。對中國文字和詩歌有濃厚興趣，他的著作包括四本個人詩集。

Born in Washington, D.C. in 1946, Mr.Soper was fascinated by Chinese character fonts, and began to translate Chinese poetry almost 20 years ago. He was a submarine sailor during the Vietnam War, a newspaper typesetter, business administrator. He is retired, living in North Carolina with his wife, Mary Lou.

Johan Ramaekers（約翰）

比利時根特城人，詩人，歌詞作家，通曉多種語言，大學主修德語語文學，作品進入荷蘭以及比利時現代音樂排行榜。

Born in Limburg, Belgium, Johan Ramaekers is a lyricist, polyglot, and poet. He was tutored German philology by his father as he was growing up, and later studied the same subject in college. Johan lives in Gent, Belgium.

一百年來，漢語新詩的發展與外國詩歌及其翻譯的影響密不可分，但雙方的互動也始終存在不對等的問題。隨著中國當代文學的崛起，當代漢語詩歌期待在更廣闊的語境中發聲，同世界文學達成愈加豐富的交流與對話。

為進一步繁榮新時代詩歌，推動漢語詩歌走向世界，激勵本土詩人們創作出具有世界影響力的優秀作品，中國詩歌網與美國華盛頓PATHSHARERS BOOKS（出版有季刊21st Century Chinese Poetry）合作開展漢詩英譯活動。《詩刊》每期刊登的詩作及中國詩歌網「每日好詩」中的佳作，將有機會被譯成英語，刊於21st Century Chinese Poetry，並在中國詩歌網做專題展示。
