英國冒出一批「中國製造」,可這回沒人敢說它們粗製濫造了

當東方遇見西方-融合新中式美學的創意設計力量將以快閃店的形式於2018年11月16-26日,在全球最具創意生活氣息的地標之一——倫敦考文特花園,與倫敦市民進行最美邂逅。這將是一場「推陳出新」的新中式美學視覺盛宴。

East meets West blends Chinese aesthetic with contemporary design to bring a pop-up show from 16th-26thNovember in one of the world』s most creative and lively cultural hubs, Covent Garden. This will be a visual feast of a new and innovative Chinese aesthetic.

大多數情形下,西方世界依然存在「中國製造=粗製濫造」的陳舊觀念,我們期待以此次展覽為契機,打破此刻板印象,用中國創造代替中國製造,與舊觀念一爭高下,重新定義「Made In China」的內涵,製造關於當代中國創意的話題,用這樣的形式向英國人民介紹當下中國的生活藝術。

? Old perceptions, new innovations

Many people in the West maintain the old concept of 「made in China」 as a symbol of crude and bad quality products. We look forward to this exhibition as an opportunity to break away from such stereotypes, replacing Chinese production with Chinese creation, and calling upon people to discuss and redefine the concept of 「made in China」, by showcasing the virtues of contemporary China』s visual aesthetic to the British public.

我們將同步搭建展示和銷售平台,對參展產品進行深度推廣。一方面在東方和西方之間架起文化的橋樑,通過線上介紹與線下展覽,展示中國人獨特的審美和精湛的工藝文化。與此同時,通過與英國主流商場銷售渠道合作,助推和孵化有潛力的中國品牌進入西方市場,滿足倫敦對獨特產品和趨勢的追求。

We will build a display and sales platform simultaneously to promote products, bridging the gap between East and West through online content and offline display that presents China』s unique aesthetic and exquisite craft heritage. Through cooperation with mainstream British shopping malls, we will launch and nurture Chinese brands with high potential into the Western market, fulfilling the demand for individual and distinctive products among London』s consumers.

我們按照兼具新中式美學和符合國際創意設計理念的雙選標準嚴選出參展產品,展品範圍涵蓋了傳統工藝、時尚設計、生活家居等不同領域,參展品牌主要來自中國大陸、香港、台灣等地區,包括已參加過國際知名展覽如米蘭三年展的品牌、中國設計的中間力量、新興設計師品牌等,這些品牌致力於中國文化傳統和美學在當代社會語境下的表達和存續,能夠基本呈現目前中國創意設計的情況。此外,諸如時尚飲品等類型產品首次以創意設計成果的身份出現在倫敦,屆時將為到場參觀的市民帶來來自當下新中式生活理念的驚喜。

?Out and new

Our products are selected according to the double standards of contemporary Chinese aesthetic as well as international creative design concepts, with items covering a wide range of fields from traditional craft、fashion design to home-life products. The participating brands are mainly from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, including those that have exhibited at internationally renowned exhibitions such as the Milan Triennale, as well as influential and emerging designer brands. These brands are committed to the expression and existence of Chinese cultural traditions and aesthetics in the context of contemporary society, and embody the current situation of creative design in China. In addition, for the first time products such as drinks will appear in London as the result of creative design, enlightening visitors to new concepts of Chinese lifestyle.

Successor Center begins with the family, piecing together individual family stories to show the passing on of China』s rich cultural heritage through wider society. Following the motto 「Nurture happiness in the heart, Store wealth in the people」, Family Culture has successfully launched three platforms: 「Life Events」 for lifestyle design, 「Home Academy」 for home aesthetic and moral education, and 「Gift Plan」, a platform for Chinese master craftsmen and designers.
