22、受戒是為了讓你增加功德，不是佛要求你什麼，讓你受苦、受累。受戒了就有功德，有功德了就有福報，有福報了就有智慧。

22．The purpose of receiving precepts is to increase your merits and virtues, rather than to have you suffer hardships and tiredness from what the precept requires. Merits will arise after receiving precepts; with merits there will be fortune; with fortune there will be wisdom.
