在2017到2018年間，「Donald 」一名的受歡迎程度下降了39位。2018年，「Donald 」在最受歡迎的男嬰名字中排名526位，這是自1990年統計開始以來該名字「最不受歡迎」的一年。

While names associated with bad press sometimes tank in popularity, the opposite is often true, according to Bellevue University psychology professor and former president of the American Name Society, Cleveland K. Evans.
