你見過假期各個景點的人山人海，見過高速路上長達幾公里的交通堵塞，但你見過下面的場景嗎？

這張照片攝於世界最高峰珠穆朗瑪峰上，圖中300多名登山客在海拔8000米的有「死亡區」之稱的地帶排隊等待登頂。

據尼泊爾最大的英文媒體Himalayan Times報道，今年春天以來，隨著天氣轉暖，湧現了大量的登山者，目前已有14人喪命。

Insider報道指出，光是本周就有10名登山客在這裡失去生命，這一數字比2018年全年還要多。據BBC報道，2018年共有5人死於珠峰，另有1人死於附近的洛子峰。

據《衛報》報道，其他死者包括一名愛爾蘭人，一名奧地利人，四名印度人，一名美國人，一名尼泊爾導遊，另有一名愛爾蘭人登山途中滑倒並跌落山崖，被推測死亡。

這些登山者中，有人在返回下山的路上因精疲力竭而死，還有人因失足摔下山而死，有人因長時間困在高海拔處排隊導致脫水體力耗盡而死。其中那兩名印度人就在隊伍中等待了12多個小時，最終體力不支。

那麼為什麼會出現如此嚴重的擁堵呢？

圖為登頂珠穆朗瑪峰的最後一段山脊，位於尼泊爾境內的珠峰南段。登山者也可以通過位於中國西藏的珠峰北段到達山頂，但採用南段路線的人更多。

目標不應該只是成功登頂，而是成功登頂後安全歸來，活著的！居然有那麼多人是在返回的途中死亡的。
