There are many cryptocurrency projects using DAG, such as IOTA, NANO and MIXIN. How is LINIX different from them? Why do you call LINIX 「The World"s First DAG Infused Blockchain」?
Henry | LINIX ：
LINIX is completely different from existing DAG based networks on the market currently. NANO and IOTA are all trying to use DAG as a replacement data structure for blockchain, LINIX isn』t. We want to use DAG in a way that』s more similar to a Layer 2 scalability and sharding solution, while still being anchored to a blockchain like structure through the use of State Matrices.
In other words, NANO and IOTA are not blockchains, and have issues with centralization and liveness, whereas LINIX is still a blockchain, but we will have a DAG layer on top of the blockchain.

What is LINIX』s advantage and opportunity amid the competition of smart contract platforms? What do you think of the market？

The current Smart Contract market is mainly dominated by Ethereum, and other chains that are similar to Ethereum. We don』t plan to directly compete with Layer 1 chains, but instead we want to integrate with all major Layer 1』s, we are currently in talks with top 10 public chains by market cap for potential partnership possibilities? We are also building our technology in a modular way and on architectures that will allow us to integrate easily with Ethereum 2.0 when that rolls out.

Usually a DAG transaction needs to be verified by subsequent transactions in a random way, which may result in certain transactions being unverified for a long time. How does LINIX solve this problem?
Henry | LINIX ：
LINIX doesn』t work the same way as existing DAG solutions such as IOTA, which requires centralized authority nodes to function, so it does not have the same problems. Transactions are confirmed nearly instantly upon submission to the DAG without needing to wait for later transactions. This is achieved by leverage the security of the anchoring blockchain, so the DAG component can be tuned for maximal scalability while maintaining decentralization.

According to the LINIX white paper, there are two roles, namely the miner and the witness in the PoCB mechanism. The miner proposes the State Matrix and the witness is in charge of voting verification. What kind of economic incentives does the LINIX system provide for miners? How do you decide which miner has the right to propose the State Matrix?
Henry | LINIX ：
Witnesses are basically just validators in POS consensus. They need to stake a certain amount of tokens to quality, then the selection will be random. Incentives are receiving staking rewards similar to how Ethereum 2.0 will work.
We will have a gas system that powers transactions and provide incentives for nodes to process transactions? No mining node will have any special rights. They can all mine State Matrices based on their view of the network, the one that』s valid and most complete will be accepted by the network through voting.

We』ve noticed that the ecosystem development of many existing public chains is unfavorable with a low usage rate of their functions. Without good ecosystem construction, high performance will be useless. What is the ecosystem layout for LINIX?
Henry | LINIX ：
Because of our modular architecture, we can partner with all major Layer 1』s to act as a layer in their ecosystem. So we can leverage their ecosystems, and do not need to build up a new ecosystem from scratch. ??By building on top of our system, dApp』s can enjoy a number of benefits, such as interoperability between multiple layer one』s, on top of the scaling and usability benefits from using our DAG layer. Our goal is to make it easier than ever to develop mass adoption ready decentralized apps that will work across multiple Layer 1』s.

There are very few descriptions of economic systems in the LINIX white paper. According to your ONE PAGE, only 15% of the tokens are distributed to the ecosystem. Are these tokens enough for incentivizing miners and witnesses and expanding the ecosystem of LINIX?
Henry | LINIX ：
The tokens allocated tothe ecosystem are not the same as the ones used for mining and staking rewards.
After the testnet launches, we will beincubating a number of flagship dApp』s within our system that will showcase thecapabilities of our network, and we will host a series of hackathons to invitedevelopers to create applications on our network. Those tokens will beprimarily used for those purposes.

We have decided against developing a new Smart Contract language for precisely that reason. Instead, our technology will support Web Assembly, so any number of popular languages can compile into it. We want to make it easy for developers to build and deploy dApp』s that scale.

Because the DAG is sharded in a way so that nodes do not need to have knowledge of the entire transaction graph to process transactions, or check for double spending or conflicting transactions. This allows the network to scale linearly, and transaction processing speed to remains constant.

How are you going with LINIX? According to the roadmap, LINUX will open source between Q1 and Q2 of 2019. Will the open source plan be implemented in accordance with the roadmap?

We will open source a portion of our codebase at the end of Q2 to beginning of Q3, and invite code reviewers to review our technology. The full codebase will be open sourced around main net launch.
