Bob and Bet live by the sea.

鮑勃和貝蒂住在海邊。

They like fish.

他們很喜歡魚。

Bob fishes all day.

鮑勃整天釣魚。

He catches big fish…

…and small fish.

他抓到了一條大魚……

……和一條小魚。

One day, he catches…

有一天，他抓到了……

…a magic fish!

The fish gives Bob and Bet three wishes.

……一條魔法魚！

這條魚給鮑勃和貝蒂3個願望。

"I wish to be rich," says Bob.

鮑勃說：「我希望變得很富有，」

"I wish to be richer," says Bet.

貝蒂說：「我希望變得更富有，」

"I wish to be richer still!" she says.

貝蒂說：「希望一直這麼富有下去！」

"Too greedy!" says the fish.

魔法魚說「你們太貪婪啦！」

（魔法消失，鮑勃和貝蒂又回到從前貧窮的樣子……）
