This is the ￡1.3million love nest bought by Boris Johnson and his girlfriend Carrie Symonds after they were hounded out of their former home, MailOnline can reveal.

Their new home is a three-storey red brick house overlooking a park about a mile from the flat Carrie and Mr Johnson previously shared.

The couple completed on the property last week after deciding to "put down roots" together a year after their romance was revealed.

Neighbours of the Camberwell property said it had been empty for almost a year and on the market for several months.

Another said he was quite happy as it would lead to an increased police presence.
