211、了脫生死的意思是了脫生死的苦。佛也生，也死，但是不受生死的苦；凡夫執著，沒有智慧，要受生死的苦。

211. The meaning of liberating from birth and death is releasing the suffering of birth and death. Buddha experienced birth and death as well, but he did not suffer from them. Ordinary people tend to cling and have little wisdom; therefore, they suffer from birth and death.
