英少年求愛不成竟捅死女孩，知情人透露背後的原因

有知情人透露說自從他爸爸被診斷出癌症以來，該少年就患上了抑鬱症。但該說法並未得到法庭確認。

據英國《每日郵報》報道，一名17歲男孩在求愛不成後竟拿刀捅死了女孩。

Thomas Griffiths, 17, was a close friend of "kind and caring" schoolgirl Ellie Gould but wanted to take their friendship further.

When Ellie said she was "too busy" for a relationship, Griffiths stabbed her multiple times at her parents" home in Wiltshire, according to school friends.

熟悉托馬斯的友鄰說，這孩子之前從來不惹麻煩，怎麼突然就犯了這麼大的事。有人透露說自從他爸爸肖恩被診斷出癌症以來，他就患上了抑鬱症。

不過BBC、《衛報》、《太陽報》等其他英媒表示，目前尚不明確托馬斯的犯罪動機，更詳細的情形要等11月判決時才能揭曉，在此之前他會被一直收押在監。

Speaking after the hearing, temporary DCI Jim Taylor said: 「Ellie was murdered as a result of a violent attack. Ellie was in her first year of sixth form and was looking forward to the next steps in her education.

很高興有人認罪。讓人失去生命絕對沒有借口。應該考慮重新引入死刑。你奪走了別人的生命，為什麼你還能繼續活下去。
