美國創意環保披薩連盒一起吃！

近日，紐約的一位披薩店主在社交媒體推特上介紹了自家店的最新美食―可以吃的披薩包裝盒。讓人稱讚的是該店的披薩外包裝竟是100%的披薩。

A New York City pizzeria is ditching the cardboard container for a pizza box that』s made of one thing and one thing only―100 percent pizza.

這家名叫「維尼披薩」的店位於布魯克林，店主發布了這個照片後，披薩控們立馬就不淡定了。

Vinnie s Pizzeria in Brooklyn revealed 「the pizza box pizza」 via Twitter and it s been sending hungry pizza lovers into a tailspin.

這種「披薩盒披薩」取代了過去那種不可食用的紙盒，它的中間是義大利辣香腸餡餅，餡餅被圍在一個方形的披薩麵餅里。

The pizza box pizza starts with a pepperoni pie that comes enveloped in a square pizza, replacing those boring non-edible boxes of yesteryear.

維尼披薩的店主西恩·貝爾蒂奧姆表示：「底下就是一種薄餅，把鬆軟的薄餅做成了披薩盒的樣子。」所以這種披薩盒美味又環保。不過這種由麵粉、醬料和乳酪做成的披薩盒可不便宜，一個就要40美元。為了保鮮，披薩外面還得包上錫紙。

"It s a Sicilian pizza underneath―like a fluffy Sicilian pizza that forms the pizza box,」 said Vinnie s owner Sean Berthiaume. So the pizza box isn t just delicious―but it s also environmentally friendly.But an entire box made of dough, sauce and cheesy goodness doesn t come cheap. Each pizza box pizza costs $40. And to keep it fresh, it s wrapped in tin foil.

他想到這個創意是因為常看到顧客吃完披薩就隨手扔盒子，於是在店內客人不多時，他靈光一現想到這個創宇。

He says the idea came to him during slower business hours while he was thinking about customers coming in for a slice or two, then discarding their greasy boxes right away.

一方面人們希望減少使用包裝盒來保護環境，另一方面又希望自己訂的披薩能夠送貨上門，看起來維尼披薩的解決方案可圈可點啊。維尼披薩也提供送貨上門的服務，但老闆更希望顧客能在店內吃或者上門取走。

While many people want to help the environment by using less cardboard boxes, they still want to get their pizza delivered to their home. Vinnie s Pizzeria does deliver right to your doorstep but Berthiaume prefers customers enjoy his pizza in the store or come pick it up fresh.
