they don t need someone to help them win a title, they need someone to play well in the regular season so they can reduce minutes and be ready to win a title

they re the oldest team in the NBA with enough top end talent to win it all, but if they gotta ride that talent to the finals they won t have enough left in the finals

I didn t hear any outcry from LeBron when his boy Rich Paul was hooking TT and JR up with fat contracts. Now the well has run dry and it s the front office s fault. Normally I wouldn t side with billionaire team owners, but it seems like Gilbert has put his money where his mouth is so far. Maybe it s time for LeBron and friends to think about some pay cuts to free up some room for another player?

I think this is more indirectly saying we dont have the players to compete with the Warriors in a 7 game series rather than an issue about not spending enough.

I think the last game against the warriors was a wake up call for Bron. He knows they can t count on another Christmas day type collapse if they do meet in the finals.

A couple of reasons. A big reason is I think even last year the Warriors looked like the better team. They legit lost the series, but I think if you play the series 10 times, the Warriors win seven of them. Even in losing it looked like the Warriors collapsed and had injuries. And that s what Christmas looked like too (with a little no-call help).
