命中率籃板率生涯新高，魔獸正打出離開魔術後最佳常規賽表現？

Dwight Howard is quietly having his best season since Orlando

不知不覺間，德懷特-霍華德打出離開奧蘭多之後最佳表現。

He doesn"t get a lot of touches and doesn"t play a lot of minutes, but per 36 he"s averaging :

16.7pts/15.8reb/1.7blk, and has a TS% of 64.2

Thats a career high in both TS% and RPG. He has a BPM of 2.8 which is the highest its been ever since he left Orlando, same with his PER. His win shares/48 is the highest its been since 2011, at .203. His abysmal FT% has actually improved to 55%, the highest since 2011. He even has the highest ORTG of his entire career. So while Dwight may no longer be the MVP candidate he once was, he is still one of the very best centers in the league and is frankly having a great season

I"ve been so happy with him so far. He"s playing the role we"re asking him to and he"s been great in the locker room. Plus having rebounds is refreshing

Haven"t heard a peep from him so far. The only negative thing I"ve heard is one report that him and Dennis were having some issues, which wouldn"t surprise me given his personality

The whole Schr?der and Dwight don"t get along thing seems kinda untrue as it was only reported by some other teams commentators while we constantly see them having fun together in interviews and on the court

Pre injury he could get you 20-23 a night on post ups and pick and rolls but after it his post game went to hell. Dwight for a while didn"t really come to terms with that fact and seemed to feel like he was still a force in the low post, capable of 20+ a night even though he clearly wasn"t. He was however still an elite pick and roll player, yet he didn"t seem to want to play that role.

Honestly the small market/lack of media interest in Atlanta seems to be a blessing in disguise for Dwight. It"s no longer about expectations or being THE guy and dude can just concentrate on balling out.
