China Story Breathtaking beauty of traditional Chinese villages

傳統村落傳承著中華民族的歷史記憶、生產生活智慧、文化藝術結晶和民族地域特色，維繫著中華文明的根，寄託著中華各族兒女的鄉愁。保護傳統村落，就是要讓居民望得見山、看得見水、記得住鄉愁。

長期以來，國家文物局致力於傳統村落中的文物保護單位的保護工作，並啟動了全國重點文物保護單位和省級文物保護單位集中成片傳統村落整體保護利用項目。為了使更多的人了解傳統村落及其保護工作成果,國家文物局與中國攝影家協會共同主辦「中國傳統村落攝影展」，用攝影語言傳遞記憶、傳承鄉愁。

本組作品選自「中國傳統村落攝影展」部分入選作品。這些攝影作品反映了傳統村落的完整風貌，體現出當地居民與自然山水、歷史建築的和諧共融。對於生活在城市中的人們，這些作品總會激起一絲漣漪，投下一抹靜謐，勾起一縷鄉愁。

Traditional Chinese villages have both tangible and intangible cultural heritage and maintain high historical, cultural, artistic, social and economic values.So far, three batches, 2,555 villages in total, have been added to China s traditional village catalog.

These include ethnic villages with unique architectural styles and beautiful natural landscapes and picturesque scenery.
