Not really. Steph Curry as about the same point differential as LeBron James (by RPM), but he does it on a much better team, which is harder in the same way it"s harder for a 7 footer to average 10 rebounds a game when he"s playing with 3 other 7 footers than when he"s playing with none.

Steph Curry is obviously the best player in the west and it continues to be mind-boggling how someone whose skills are so much better than every other player in the league, and whose skills have translated into the best 3 year stretch in basketball, can be this underrated.

Barkely also said Klay was a better player then Steph and KD at the beginning of the season. He also ranked Klay ahead of Steph in the player rankings they did midway through the season.

I think it shows self-awareness. Whereas with Shaq, he doesn"t respect any big man that doesn"t have his offensive skillset. Just look at how brutal he is with his Dwight criticism. Of the 2 best big men in the 2000s (Duncan and Dirk), his preference for Duncan"s game is really obvious, and it"s not all because he"s the better player.

Based on stats this year, you can easily argue Kawhi > Curry, but it"s tough to straight out say Kawhi > Durant. I don"t think it"s crazy argument to make that Kawhi could be the 2nd best player in the league, but I don"t think it is clear cut.

No. Sorry, Steph is the engine that drives the Warriors to two MVPs, a championship, and the league record for most wins in a season. One season of Steph having Durant to lessen the load does not diminish his true value.
