Honestly it is. Especially when harden is the point guard/offense now. And cp3 takes a ton of mid range jumpers, though obviously he could just not do that.

I"m not saying rockets shouldn"t do it if they could because of fit, because cp3 is so great fit doesn"t matter, but it is a weird fit

Morey"s never been shy about talent being more important than 3"s and lay-ups. CP3 is one of the best mid range shooters in the game, Morey would let him do whatever the hell he wanted, just like he would"ve let Bosh/Melo/Aldridge do what they wanted if they had signed here

Also CP3"s absurd passing ability fits nicely into the Rocket"s system. Him and Harden in the backcourt would be a goddamn nightmare to deal with. And you could rest one while the other stayed on and ran the offense.

Its Chris Paul, he"s a basketball genius, he"d figure it out pretty quick, him and Harden would be a ton of fun to watch together though, I imagine you"d see some Golden State type passing with those two and all those shooters

Harden put up big numbers, but he isn"t going to win a championship playing point guard, imo. CP3 + Harden would be the best backcourt in the league.

Man fuck that though. CP3 is ridiculously efficient at mid range jumpers and a huge part of his game is being able to pull up on a dime and knock those down.

Him having to stop that would be ridiculous.

Taking more midrange shots in the playoffs would have helped the Rockets, tbh. I don"t think a mid-range game is a knock against Chris Paul.
