2017年RIBA最佳建築獎揭曉，英航/大英博物館/戴森公司等紛紛上榜

一年一度的RIBA（英國皇家建築師學會,Royal Institute of British Architect）年度最佳建築公布了2017年的獲獎作品，從倫敦的政府公屋，節能環保住宅，到世界首個「垂直碼頭」，大英博物館的全球保護與展覽中心，共49個項目獲得2017年的最佳建築殊榮。

值得注意的是，在各類獎項中可持續發展設計得到廣泛認可。從Norwich的生態草坪辦公室到Sheffield的生物質發電廠，都在講述可持續的環保理念。 尤其是靠近Maidstone的Caring Wood，可應對氣候變化進行碳中和，其出色的可持續特質得到認可。

當然，創新設計也一直備受追捧。位於Suffolk的孔雀之家(Peacock House)以古怪、創新的設計贏得關注，不透明的外觀下隱藏了一系列古怪的內部和外部空間。

位於Northumberland的Shawn House是設計師Richard Pender為他年長的父母設計的，為老人們提供了一個便於管理的高質量住宅。

15座倫敦建築上榜

獲獎作品中，15座建築來自首都倫敦，包括Dulwich College的實驗室，Finsbury Circus 8號，以及辦公空間The Loom等。

RIBA主席Jane Duncan表示：「磚結構建築還是倫敦地產項目的首選，泰特現代藝術館的屋頂畫廊以及位於Barrett區的私人住宅Grove就是兩個很好的例子，這種傳統建築材料在倫敦依舊受歡迎。在倫敦以外，木材建築越來越火。它用途廣泛且價格相對低廉，全英國運用都很廣泛，從Bedales School複雜晶格木材包層的外部，到精美工業設備內飾的曼徹斯特Finlays倉庫。」

其中，又名Switch Housey的建築是泰特現代美術館巨型拓展項目，位於倫敦泰晤士河畔，最具特色的是其免費的屋頂畫廊，可欣賞倫敦優美的全景。

此次獲獎名單中還包括倫敦的一處政府公屋。位於北肯辛頓的Silchester Estate被RIBA評委譽為「政府公屋的示範」。其他獲獎的政府公屋還包括北倫敦Ponders End的Dujardin Mews。

「缺少高質量的新建住宅是英國面臨的巨大問題，因此我特別高興地看到那些精心設計且可持續發展的新建住宅獲獎」，RIBA主席Jane Duncan表示。

「不管我們住在哪兒，都值得享受到設計精良、可負擔的住房。我鼓勵其他地方政府、開發商以及客服們將這些項目作為案例。」

商業建築

除了部分私人住宅，在獲獎的完整名單中商業建築和公共建中佔了很大篇幅，而獲獎作品的主人也不乏許多熟悉的名字，比如倫敦警察署總部——新蘇格蘭場，戴森公司的陽光房，大英博物館，UEA等大學。

最令人眼前一亮的當屬位於布萊頓的英航i360，它是世界首個垂直碼頭也是最高的可移動瞭望塔。

另外，獲獎的49個項目中有6棟個人住宅將繼續角逐備受關注的年度最佳房子獎(House of the Year Award)。
