This program will be conducted in English.

「The National Parks: America s Best Idea」 is a 2009 documentary film by director Ken Burns and writer Dayton Duncan which features the United States National Park system and traces the system s history . The series won two 2010 Emmy Awards for outstanding writing and for outstanding non-fiction series.

Join us at the Beijing American Center, where we will screen part of this documentary and show you some of America』s most spectacular sights such as Yellowstone and important historic monuments.After the screening, a diplomat from the Embassy will discuss how the United States cares for and manages its national parks and historic landmarks.

This program is not suitable for children under 6.
