Yeah. Everyone is ultra hype on Giannis this year because his breakout season, Giannis getting to the all star game, and finally Giannis and the Bucks getting into the playoffs where Giannis took the 3rd seed to 6 games. Add to that winning the most improved player award.

However, KAT has been a bit under the radar (in comparison to Giannis) because he"s in the tougher West where guys like Dame, Klay, LMA, Griffin, Conley, CP3, Gobert, etc get snubbed and every other game is against a team with 2 to 6 all-star star caliber guys. And just getting into the playoffs is a feat in itself.

But if you look at the stats KAT isn"t inferior to Giannis (both have different strengths/positions).

They underachieved by their point differential so some of it was just bad luck. They had 3 of the worst players in the nba getting 20+ minutes in Kris Dunn, Brandon Rush, and Shabazz Muhammad. They were really a Tony Snell, Raymond Felton, and PJ Tucker away from being a playoff team

IIRC they were one of the best teams in 3 quarters but always fell apart in the 3rd when the starters were out

You do recall correctly. 3rd quarters were always the worst. It was hard to watch us get up in the first half to know it was gonna be gone in the 3rd.

lol he hasn"t been overlooked at all. Why do you think so many people are so high on the T-Wolves? Why do you think Butler was excited to go there?

That team is ridiculously good, they just needed to get some leadership and put things together.

The West is so stacked. Clips, Jazz and Grizzlies could miss the playoffs and it wouldn"t surprise me. People are going to really go nuts about it next year when the bottom East seeds are all going to be really inferior to 3 West teams that miss the playoffs.

He"s so godly on offense, just needs to open up vision and playmaking a bit and if he doesn"t get injured he"s on HOF track, even despite his abysmal defense.

Edit - Just realized this year someone probably will miss the All Star game but make the All NBA team with Paul George and Jimmy Butler moving to the West now.
