Innospace項目位於上海市楊浦區創智天地核心位置，在一棟精品酒店的裙樓內，是創智天地社區的超短期、細胞型企業的創業服務平台，依託創智天地社區的平台，探索「孵化+投資」的模式，旨在建設成為上海地區具有一定特色和影響力的早期互聯網項目孵化基地，並打造具備協同效應的聯合辦公空間。

各種協作空間促進了連接性和趣味性

中心區的劇場區域可全天候用於演講、音樂會和其他活動

項目的設計策略利用了地塊的現有優勢，即具備便利交通條件的現代園區，為創智天地的租戶注入新鮮活力。設計體現出跨國性科技企業工作環境的密度和多樣性。創業者在工作區域及公共空間協同合作，溝通交流。

開放且圍合的空間創造平衡感

安靜的獨立空間及開放的團隊空間有利於自由溝通

Chuck Albright（CA）：

I collaborate with my project teams to deliver modern design solutions that enrich the human experience.

您認為剛剛進入行業的年輕設計師最需要什麼？
What do you think is the most important ability for a new designer?

CA：

Designers must be curious, eager to learn and willing to collaborate with others.
設計師應充滿好奇心、求知慾、樂於與他人合作。

ID-CHINA：

您是出於怎樣的考量接受我們的邀請，來遴選助手（設計新銳）的？
For what reason you decide to join our assistant choosing event?

CA：

Most of my career has been in US based offices and I』ve been involved with the local design programs in those communities. Gensler promotes connectivity with the local design schools and the entire community. We strive to connect more with the local design community.
我大部分時間供職於美國公司，此前也經常參與當地的設計領域活動。Gensler致力於推動與當地設計院校和機構的互動。我們竭誠希望於當地設計機構取得更多的聯繫。

ID-CHINA：

您眼中的助手需要具備那些素質？
What kind of quality does a young designer needs to work for you?

CA：

A young designer should be smart, curious and confident while possessing the ability to learn from others.
年輕的設計師應該眼光睿智、充滿好奇、滿懷自信，同時應該具有向他們學習的能力。

ID-CHINA：

如果有幸進入您公司做助手，會迎接什麼樣的機會和挑戰？
If anyone got the honor to join Gensler, what kind of challenge and chance is waiting for him/her?

CA：

Gensler is a global organization that is locally divided into studios to serve the local market. In the Shanghai office we have primarily Chinese staff but we also have staff from around the world, so sometimes the language barrier is a challenge. Gensler staff in those studios are mentored and trained for individual success and career growth. Gensler culture encourages curiosity and innovation, therefore we guide staff through a variety of opportunities to help them find their passion.
Gensler是一家全球性的公司，在中國根據不同的市場分為不同的工作室.上海辦公室有中國本土員工，也有來自於世界各地的員工，因此，有時語言是很大的障礙。我們為Gensler不同工作室的員工個人成功和事業發展創造機會。Gensler文化鼓勵好奇心和創造力，同時我們創造不同的機會引導員工發現自己的興趣所在

Would you give some advices for all the contestants?

CA：

Develop your sense of self-awareness and refine your strong points.
Pursue your passions and fall in love with your projects.
開發你的自我意識，提升你的優勢。追求你的熱情，深愛你的項目。

ID-CHINA：

您一天24小時的工作時間與生活時間是如何分配的？
How do you distribute your time in a working day？

CA：

My design director role allows me the opportunity to work with four or five project teams daily. I give advice and criticism on marketing & fees for new projects, analysis of client goals, strategy & design solutions and presentations. As an office and studio leader I collaborate with other office leaders on Gensler culture, recruiting new designers and internal programs.
由於我的職位是設計總監，這要求我每天必須同時與4-5個項目團隊同時工作。我對市場開發、新的項目報價、客戶目標分析、戰略和設計方案、以及項目彙報文件提出建議和意見。作為辦公室和工作室負責人，我在Gensler文化、新員工招募和內部項目上與Gensler其他辦公室負責人合作。

A professional with nearly 40 years of design and project management experience, Chuck has been recognized for design excellence through various awards and design juries. Integral to both the Gensler team and to clients, Chuck serves as one of the Design Directors for the Shanghai office, taking responsibility for the overall quality and direction of design services. With expertise in directing the design, image, character and the environmental quality of millions of square feet in completed projects, Chuck challenges the team to continually strive for excellence.
The spectrum of Chuck』s experience includes base building design, building renovations, corporate interiors, hospitality spaces, and retail projects. Responsible for overseeing the interior design team in the full implementation of the concept from schematic design through contract
administration, Chuck』s ability to successfully lead the team, paired with his attention to detail, has made him an invaluable member of the Gensler team.
