Ann遇見一段陡峭的山路，於是問路人「這段路危險嗎？」，路人答「上面不危險的！他們一般是在下面出車禍！」

Ann had a small car, and she drove a lot in town, because she went to work by carevery morning and came home by car, too. She did her shopping with her car onSaturdays. But she seldom(很少) went out into the country in it, because she did nothave much time.

Then one Sunday morning last August she said to herself, 『It s a beautiful day, andit s hot in town. I m going to drive out into the country and have a picnic in a quiet fieldthere.』 She drove twenty kilometers, and then she came to a small country road. Shelooked at it and said to herself, 『This road is very steep（陡峭的）, isn t it?』 She stopped in frontof a house and asked a man 『Is this road dangerous?』 『No,』 the man answered, 『it isn tdangerous up here. They always crash down (撞毀) at the bottom.』
