在2016年的聖誕節夜，女王又開始了一年一度的聖誕演講~

又到這一年一度最美皇室英音的時刻！

在這4分半的演講力，女王用最適合的語速，最正統的英音，講述了她對今年的看法。

聖誕演講是女王為數不多的不需要諮詢政府就能直接給出的講話。

在今年，女王的演講主題是：

inspiration - 激勵人心。

她談到了各行各業中的無名英雄，雖然他們都是平凡的人，但是他們都在做著不平凡的事。

這些人可以是志願者，醫護人員，社區組織者，甚至，友好的鄰居。正是他們的默默奉獻，才讓他們，也才讓這個國家，變得更特別。

他們都是激勵人心的代表。

除此外，女王還著重提到了今年英國運動員在奧運會上的優秀表現。

在今年的里約奧運會，英國健兒67枚獎牌，其中包括27金，23銀，17銅，是位居世界第二的好成績。他們也激勵著所有人。

There was a time when British Olympic medal winners became household names because there were so few of them.

But the 67 medals at this year s Games in Rio and 147 at the Paralympics meant that the GB medallists reception at Buckingham Palace was a crowded and happy event.
