劇情簡介

Phoebe沖不付飯錢的客戶大吼，Monica用了yell at

羅斯和美麗非凡的古生物學者謝麗約會；但發現謝麗衛生習慣極差，家中髒得像豬圈。錢德買凱茜最喜歡的絕版書，想作為生日禮物送給凱茜，但他無意專美於前，因為喬伊還不知道送什麼好；喬伊請錢德代買禮物，錢德迫於無奈，將書給喬伊拿去借花獻佛。菲比借錢給莫妮卡購買原材料；莫妮卡在葬禮上提供食物，大受歡迎，但收帳時受挫，菲比出馬搞定。瑞秋想獨立完成拼字遊戲。

《棉絨兔》，這是美國童話作家馬傑里·威廉姆斯的著名作品，在歐美幾乎家喻戶曉。故事描繪了一個小孩心愛的填充玩具「棉絨兔」離家出走，如何在外面經歷風霜，最後終於成為真正的兔子的故事。這是劇中喬伊的新女友凱西小時候最摯愛的童話故事，愛上了凱西的錢德勒因此想盡辦法給她找了一本最初版本的《棉絨兔》，想作為生日禮物送給凱西。考慮到喬伊沒有什麼像樣的禮物給女友，錢德勒最後作出了犧牲，把《棉絨兔》讓給喬伊當做禮物送給了凱西。但對看書沒有什麼興趣的喬伊在送書給凱西時居然說：我知道你喜歡兔子，還喜歡乳酪。於是凱西知道，這個禮物和喬伊無關。

Chandler:Actually, this is for Kathy s birthday. It s an early edition of her favorite book.

Rachel:Oh,The Velveteen Rabbit!Oh my God, when the boy s love makes the rabbit real!

Chandler:Okay, but don t touch it, because you fingers have destructive oils.

Rachel:Huh. Well, then you d better keep it away from Ross s hair. So this is pretty rare. How did you get that?Chandler:Oh, it wasn t a big deal. I just went to a couple of bookstores, talked to a couple of dealers... called a couple of the author s grandchildren.

Joey:It s two gifts in one. It s a pen that s also a clock! Huh?

Chandler:Huh-huh! You can t give her that.

Joey:Why not?

Chandler:Because she s not eleven! And it s not the seventh night ofHanukkah!
