Evolution will nolonger be taught in Turkish schools, a senior education official has said, in amove likely to raise the ire of the country』s secular opposition.

Alpaslan Durmu?, who chairs the board ofeducation, said evolution was debatable, controversial and too complicated forstudents.

「We believe that these subjects are beyond their [students] comprehension,」said Durmu? in a video publishedon the education ministry』s website.

Durmu? said a chapter on evolution wasbeing removed from ninth grade biology course books, and the subject postponedto the undergraduate period. Another change to the curriculum may reduce theamount of time that students spend studying the legacy of secularism.

雖然我不接受進化論 但是 我覺得這麼多人類起源中 還是教這個最好 因為有理有據 雖然並不能完全說沒問題 比起正確的答案 態度更重要 進化論是科學態度的產物 其他論點 不反對 但是需要認證。
