Once upon a time in the hidden heart of France

從前在法國的腹地

A handsome young prince lived in a beautiful castle

一位年輕英俊的王子住在金碧輝煌的城堡里

Although he had everything his heart desired

儘管王子擁有一切他想要的東西

the Prince was selfish and unkind

但王子卻是一個刻薄而自私的人

Master it s time

主人 是時候了

He taxed the village to fill his castle with the most beautiful objects

And his parties with the most beautiful people

Then one night

一個風雨交加的夜晚

an unexpected intruder arrived at the castle

一位不速之客進入了城堡

seeking shelter from the bestest storm

As a gift she offered the Prince a single rose

作為答謝 她送給王子一支玫瑰

Repulsed by her haggard appearance

王子十分嫌棄形容枯槁的老婆婆

the Prince turned the woman away

王子要趕走老婆婆

But she warned him not to be deceived by appearances

但老婆婆警告王子不要以貌取人

For beauty is found within

When he dismissed her again

王子依然要驅趕她

the old woman s out with her appearance melted away

這時候老婆婆變了樣子

To reveal a beautiful enchantress

The Prince begged for forgiveness but he was too late

Cause she had seen that there was no love in his heart

As punishment

she transformed him into a hideous beast

And placed a powerfull spell on the castle and all who lived there

The Prince and his servants were forgotten by the world

For the enchantress had erased all memory of them from the minds of the people they loved

But the rose she had offered was truly an enchanted rose

If he could learn to love another and earned their love in return by the time the last petal fell

the spell would be broken

If not he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time

否則 王子將再也無法從野獸變回到人類了

As the years passed he fell into despair and lost all hope
