名詞辯證：營養支持療法

國內、國外長時間沿用的「營養支持」是當前常用的名詞。近幾年部分文獻、口頭報告、專業團體或組織機構名稱中出現「營養支持治療」一詞，根據2016年全國科學技術名詞審定委員會批准預公布的《腸外與腸內營養學名詞》應為「營養支持療法」【1】。筆者對此的理解，和同道們一起探討。

1美國腸外腸內營養學會（ASPEN）和重症醫學會（SCCM）在部分指南中出現「nutrition support therapy」一詞【2-6】，而當前在多種指南和文獻中多數使用「nutritional support」，說明2個專業辭彙是共存的。2011年，《中華臨床營養雜誌》（CJCN）在京部分編委研討了如何讓中文名詞有合適的表達，共識為：營養支持療法【7】。

2營養支持療法（nutrition support therapy），包括3個部分【7,8】：補充（supplement）、支持（support）、治療（treatment）。因此，並非所有的營養（支持）療法（therapy）都是營養治療（treatment），若片面強調「治療」、一概使用「治療」，將導致「補充」和「支持」的臨床常用的應用部分缺失，如口服營養補充（oral nutrition supplement，ONS）就屬於「補充」。

3營養支持（nutritional support）這一國際上應用40年左右、國內應用30年左右的專業名詞，目前仍然在國外、國內使用。

4營養支持（nutritional support）與營養療法（nutrition therapy）均被美國國家醫學圖書館（NLM）公布的《醫學主題詞》（Medical Subject Headings，MeSH）【9】和中國的萬方醫學網MeSH檢索系統【10】收錄，為標準的PubMed和萬方醫學檢索系統醫學主題詞。
