巔峰保羅是不是現今聯盟前五的球員？

Now CP3 is still in his prime but not as peak as when he"s younger. Most of people ranked him at 7th or 8th best player today.

So , Was peak CP3 better than 2 guys of Curry , Harden , Kawhi , Westbrook ? (They"re 3-4-5-6 not order , So he must be better than 2 of these guys to be in Top 5)

Better than all of them tbh. Can you imagine prime CP3 in D"Antoni"s offense lol? Back then it was widely agreed upon that if CP wasnt a facilitator, he could average close to 30/game if he wanted (instead choosing to go for ~22/11 efficiently).

And because Steph/Harden/WB all play his position but play simply passable-to-below-average defense, i would easily give CP the nod over them since he happens to be one of the best defenders ever at his position.

In his best season, he averaged 23 ppg. On a team that was almost dead last in pace (28/30). I can"t imagine how much he"d score in a D"Antoni offense.

CP3 is obviously one of the best facilitators in modern NBA history, but his top scoring season (the one you"re referring to) he scored 32.4 points per 100 possession.

To compare, Kawhi has two seasons above that already. Last year he was at 32.8 and this year he"s at 39.6

Of course he"d be a top 5 player. He"s still capable of being the best player on either team in a playoff series. Last time the Spurs and Clippers played in the playoffs CP3 was the best guy on the court.

Top 5ish? Yes. Better than KD, Lebron or Steph? No.

CP3 is definitely a stud, but people acting like he was a magical unicorn player pre-injury. Prime CP3 is more like John Wall if he had a consistent jump shot and was an elite finisher. That"s of course ridiculously good, but CP3"s strength is consistency, not having an insane peak like either of the top 3 right now do.
